HOW TO CHANGE THE FUEL PUMP IN YOUR E46
To change the fuel pump in your BMW E46 you need to take off the bottom part of the back seat. Then
you'll see a rubber mat with a wire coming out on
the right side and I think you'll have to cut it a bit.
After you'll see four screws. Unscrew them, then
you'll see the fuel pump itself. Then unplug the fuse,
check if there is electricity in the fuse. If there is, it's
the pumps fault.

How do you know what the engine size of your BMW is? As you know, there are different types of BMW. There is the 1-series, the 3-series, 5-series and so on. If 325ci is written on the back of your BMW, it has a 2.5l petrol engine and it's a 3-series. The 3 stands for 3-series, the 25 stands for 2.5l engine and the Ci stands for coupe injection.If 740LD is written on the back of your BMW, it has a 4.0l diesel engine and it's a 7-series. The LD stands for long diesel (only the 7-series have long version)
